The cracked plaster on those walls
where I scratched the surface with my unkempt nails
To check what lies underneath
That disheveled store room
which I often rummaged
To find hidden treasures
That wall where I carved my name with the compass
from the orange geometry box
in freshly wet paint
It must still be there
It was 05.11.1994
It hasn't been repainted since.
I hope.

What I love about your writing style is how what you write is short & yet it says so much. I remember I said something exactly like that when I last visited & I'm happy that nothing has changed. :-)
