The Frog and The Scorpion

In order to preserve my sanity,I began to read..

In the first 60 pages of "Shantaram" I read a fable,a story that has long been told.It is still on my mind and will always be.

It is a story about a frog and a scorpion.The frog agreed to take the scorpion on its back across the river because the scorpion promised not to sting the frog.In the midway of the river,the scorpion stings the frog and they are about to drown.

The frog asks the scorpion, "Pray,why you stung me when you knew that both of us will drown?"

"I'm a Scorpion. It is my nature to sting." replied the sinking Scorpion.

Forgiven; Not Forgotten

Forgive; but never Forget. Forgiveness, they say is noble, forgiveness,I say is selfish. I forgive people to feel better..to release all the anger and pain that resides in me...Yes, I forgive but only because I cant live without forgiving...

Forgetfulness, they say is to do with the memory...my memory,I say is a tad too strong :)
